What we do

The aim of the Meuse Attractivité is to showcase the image and reputation of Meuse, drafting and implementing its tourism policy. It also helps to draw up, promote and market tourist products, working jointly with professionals and other interested parties representing Meuse as a whole or individual towns and villages.


It provides the “back-up / assistance / consultancy” services required by tourism professionals and project leaders in the public or private sectors.

Our team

Meuse Attractivité has a team of 13 people working to develop in Meuse.

Management

  • Drafts, defines and implements the team’s policies and objectives.

  • Heads up and organises the team.

  • Manages the budget.

 

The WEB

  • Sets up and operates online services – promotional products, bookings, social networks etc.

  • Produces publications such as guides, brochures, tours, maps and plans etc. for visitors wishing to explore Meuse.

  • Provides advice and assistance with Internet strategy for visitor service providers.

 

Marketing

  • Provides information to the press : media for the general public and professionals, hospitality for journalists.

  • Provides information to travel professionals.

  • Designs and circulates marketing tools.

  • Organises study trips.

  • Takes part in travel exhibitions for the general public and professionals, in France and other countries.

  • Builds tourism products.

  • Helps to design and circulate marketing tools.

 

Engineering

  • Assists project leaders.

  • Develops territorial branding.

  • Acts as a tourist observatory (statistics and visitor numbers).

  • Develops niche tourist markets (mobile homes, cyclotouring, walking, the environment).

  • Manages the Meuse Walking Trail Plan (Plan Départemental des Itinéraires de Promenades et de Randonnées, PDIPR).

  • Defines and assesses tourist products (hospitality/cycling/the environment etc.).
