Located between Bar-le-Duc and Verdun, the village of Marat-la-Petite is near the famous "Sacred Way" (Voie Sacrée), in the delightful Chée Valley.
Delphine Perini welcomes guests to "Les Contasses", her pretty little traditional farmhouse built in a style that combines stone and timbering. It has been renovated in a manner that is respectful of the environment.
Guests have a choice of two rooms (Gîtes de France - 3 ears of corn). They are on the first floor of the house and have their own entrance.
- "Cabourote" is an elegant minimalist room for 2 to 4 people. It has 1 double bed and 2 singles, and an en-suite.
- "Maraoudaise" is a bright, colourful room for 2 people. It has twin beds and an en-suite.
On the ground floor, you can take advantage of the peace and quiet to relax and recharge your batteries in the lounge.
And why not go for a stroll in the rustic flower garden or have a snooze in a deckchair beneath the trees? Or you could simply enjoy the patio as you sip a glass of home-pressed apple juice.
Delphine Perini welcomes guests for table d’hôte meals, giving them a chance to taste local and regional fare and Côtes de Meuse wines, in moderation. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
For those who love really good food that is also beautiful, Delphine Perini also organises gourmet weekends focusing on truffles and redcurrants depending on the season.
From Marat-la-Petite, it's easy to explore the architectural gems of the Renaissance district in Bar-le-Duc or the major sites on the Verdun battlefield.
