Set up in a traditional Meuse village house, the “brasserie de Nettancourt” produces and markets its organic real ales without any middle men, direct at the cellar door and on local markets. The founders of this brewing cooperative produce four beers - blonde, ambrée, brune and blanche. The brewery is open one weekend a month (and with advance booking), offering other convivial events such as games evenings (wooden games, board games), debates, exhibitions and the sale of books or magazines that promote the real ale movement. The aim of this initiative on the part of “La Brasserie” is to encourage the transmission of age-old skills and knowledge on a human scale.
Visitors should make an appointment to see the brewery at work.
