Jean-Jacques De Bacco, who is fond of hunting and fishing, welcomes guests to his gîte, Champelle, in Savonnière-en-Woëvre in the depths of wooded hillsides between Saint-Mihiel and Lake Madine.
The gîte consists of a single-storey house for 4 people, built in 1800. The owner has renovated it without losing any of its erstwhile character by retaining features such as the 18th-century fireplace, stone sink and much of the woodpanelling, all of which adds to the cosy ambiance.
There is a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge, a shower room and 2 bedrooms, one double overlooking the street and one overlooking the courtyard with twin beds.
From this holiday let, you can go as the will takes you through the vineyards and orchards of the Meuse Hills. You can visit the Saint-Mihiel Salient or enjoy some of the activities available at Lake Madine e.g. golf, boating, paddle boats, aerial assault course etc.
Parking. Gated courtyard. Exquisite decor. Utilities not included.
