This restored Lorraine-style house is located in the small Meuse Hills hamlet of Buxières-sous-les-Côtes near Lake Madine. It used to be the home of the grandmother of Monique Saintignon, the owner. It has now been converted into a rural gîte for 6 people and Monique will be delighted to share the history of the village with her guests.
Decorated in a minimalist style that makes extensive use of wood and includes antique furniture, the gîte has a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, as well as a dining room with antique fireplace and woodburner, a small lounge with a sofa and 2 armchairs and a shower room with a spa shower.
Upstairs, there are 3 bright bedrooms. The first two have a double bed while the third one has twin beds.
Pull on your rucksack and walking boots and explore the vineyards and orchards in the Meuse Hills. The focal point is Lake Madine, which offers a wide range of activities e.g. sailing, swimming, golf, riding etc.
Oil-fired central heating (extra charge). High chair available if required. Also available on request: sheets, towels and end-of-stay cleaning (extra charge). Garage, outdoor setting.
