Located in the outbuildings of a castle set in a park with "Remarkable Garden" status on the banks of the small River Leurande, the Via Romana gîte sleeps 6 people. It lies in the delightful village of Nettancourt near Revigny-sur-Ornain, at the gateway to Meuse and Champagne. The owner, Angéline Morillion, gives guests a warm welcome to her single storey house with character (140 sq. m.).
Guests have a well-equipped open-plan kitchen and spacious living room with open fire and flat screen TV. They then have a choice of 3 bedrooms with double beds, providing a wonderful view of the grounds. There are also 3 bathrooms.
When the sun comes out, you can enjoy the heated pool and the tennis court. Or you can go for a stroll in the 22-hectare park crisscrossed by small rivers and streams. You can even try fishing in the castle's own lake. It's private so you won't need a fishing permit.
Located between the forest around Nettancourt and the award-winning park, this gîte is ideally situated if you want to explore the region.
