Three days in the Meuse Hills, within the Lorraine regional country park near Lake Madine.
The Hôtel du lac de Madine blends seamlessly into the village atmosphere of Heudicourt-sous-les-Côtes. It has a tree-lined patio, flower-decked facade, beams and beautiful stone walls, and is decorated in light colours. It also has a bar and lounge and the reception area underscores the hotel's regional approach and family values. In the Louis and Grand'vigne rooms decorated in shades of beige and white, the Collinet bridge chairs (made in Meuse) emphasise the importance of quality. The hotel has fourteen 3-star rooms including one with disabled access. There is also an annex with thirty rooms. The hotel has it all - free WiFi, TV, connecting rooms and a play area for families. The staff can also advise you about places to visit within the region and the hotel's own walking guide also provides a few tips. As an optional extra, a beauty consultant can add to your sense of well-being. As to the restaurant, it reflects our daily commitment to quality as well as the enthusiasm and knowledge about wine shared with guests by the owners, Christelle Drapier and Aurélie Deloyer.
The meticulous approach of our chefs is evident throughout the menu.
Try the Foie Gras and Langoustine Pâté, the Poultry Supreme and the Crunchy Mirabelle Plum Basket Flambéed over Vanilla Ice Cream. Serge prepares some wonderful fish and scallop dishes while Didier has been looking after meat dishes for 30 years.
They're quite a pair!
