TOUR OF GERMAN BASES

The Spincourt sector was occupied in August 1914 and, for four years, was used as a rear
base by the German Army which built permanent facilities here for artillery equipment and troop R&R.
The German bases in Marguerre and Duzey include a German naval gun site and a billetting village.
Visit lasts 1 hr.
Personal visit (individual visitors) or guided tours
(groups) of the German bases in Duzey and Loison.
