Art and nature

Le Vent des Forêts (Wind in the forests)

In the heart of the Meuse, six villages offering the Vent des Forêts exhibition have been hosts to international artists for a summer season since 1997.  During these periods, more than 150 works of art have been created, along 45 kilometres of specially-marked trails which are easily accessible between March and September on foot, on horseback or on a mountain bike. The "Vent des Forêts" works will give you rich insights into the personal development of these artists and our rural, woodland surroundings. Pause as you pass by and enjoy some charming, surprising, pleasing moments, or maybe ask yourself some questions. Lecture-tour available booked in advance.

Anes Art'Gonne

Exhibition area measuring 350m² in a dwelling typical of the Argonne area, displaying works favouring artists from developing countries, such as those in West Africa, Asia or South America.
More than 100 artists have appeared at Evres during an exhibition, a retrospective or a symposium.
The Anes Art'Gonne Association offers donkey hire for half-day, whole day or several days, giving riders the opportunity to discover or rediscover the Argonne area.
